Label printing�Ink selection
There are various types of label printing
ink, according to the different solvents used, can be divided into three
categories, waterborne printing ink, solvent printing ink and UV printing ink.
Here shortly introduce the difference
between them.
1) Waterborne label ink
Safety
and health, Pollution-free, meet the requirements of environmental protection. But
it has some shortcomings, like slow drying, color saturation not high, lack of
stability, unsuitable for larger area printing, easy to become of sediment or
lamination if long term storage.
Solvent label printing ink
The ink has strong adaptability to label
material, stable performance and high printing quality. But there is a problem
of environmental pollution, some volatile solvents are harmful to human health.
UV label printing ink
The ink has excellent performance, reliable
quality and wide application range.
But it cost higher, there are certain
requirements for supporting materials, and special drying equipment is required.
