Printing
company likes to give the industry its own name for
the new production concept of cross-industry. Instead of using global
technology trends, it is developing its own niche market. For example: we used
the JDF concept to replace all other industry-popular XML concepts. Eventually
we had a hard time finding JDF professionals. There is also the buzzword
“web-to-print�. Now I have to explain to several generations of college
students that the e-business configuration of book printing products is different from web-to-print.
We will feel that the printing company is less innovative than Germany’s leading
automotive and machine manufacturing industries. If you have a chance to visit
a medium-sized machine factory, there, the international market leader, you can
see that there are more people dressed casually than we think. When you visit
the Mercedes bens e-class, you will see that each car is different from the
previous one. This is not new to us as a single producer.
There may be some innovations that we do
earlier than other industries, so we form our own concepts.
My view of the popular word industry 4.0 is
that many people in our industry go further than we think. Because for us, web
printing is not new, but now machine and auto manufacturing main problem is:
there is no longer used part did not make full use of the workstation or
special production batch, but through network based on software, make a special
production with high efficiency ingeniously run through the production
workshop.
Some people say that we could have done
this already. We can also connect with our suppliers and production partners.
So can we get past the concept of industry 4.0? I said no, because industrial
4.0 to printing more connotation and depth, so I made an exception, and to
describe their own concept. “Print 4.0� printing, the printing industry, means
more than just networking production concept.
The printing 4.0 itself is a networked catalogue printing. When the printed
tag is printed on the hotel room door, if the guest does not want to be
disturbed, the number is conveyed to the waiter, and then the efficient service
flow is generated.
It is the printing service and online communication of the network. If all of
the media to exert its potential, each media through good reporting system can
measure the contribution of the advertisement effect, then the cross-media
marketing network environment of our industry is a greater contribution.
Printing 4.0 is not just a production
concept for printing. It also involves our products and services. Printing 4.0
is a concept with real value added.
